Your story reminds me of a similar story:

Several years ago, I was looking for a sweet spot to live in the city of Palm Springs. Since I made a resolve to live without a car, I decided that I wanted to live in a part of town that was close to shopping, especially a specific health food store. I also wanted to live in the middle of the two yoga gigs I had and near to my office. So starting from each of those areas, I looked at every three bedroom home, most two bedroom condos, and all of the single bedroom apartments. There was the option of either living alone or living with my Tribe friend, Austino. I looked from mid-May until August. All of the great places were out of my bicycle lifestyle range. The one bedroom places rented for nearly as much as two bedroom places. Finally, I gave up and called the movers to come get my things so I could return to Wisconsin. There was a mix-up on the moving date, so I had to reschedule my pick up. During the linear time mix-up, I went to the condo complex where my Tribe friend Rosemary was living. I wanted to say "bye" to her. As I got out of my car and started to walk to her condo, I looked up and saw a **FOR RENT** sign in front of one of these fabulous places. I quick called the number while peeking in the windows of the vacant place. While waiting for my call to be answered, I looked up and became aware that less than one full city block away was the health food store of my desires. Obviously, I got the condo.

Interesting......now that I'm leaving my job and this little casita here in Rancho Mirage: I'm returning to the condo where Austino continues to live. I like to think of the condo as *home sweet home*.

cool story amy. synchronicity is a fabulous thing. what came to my mind isnt as dramatic, but miracluous none the less. i had been drawn to go back to school, to grad school, but didnt have the cash, and couldnt see it coming in the immediate future, so i watched,,, and danged if the campus didnt move from oakland to my own back yard in santa rosa, and i said screw it, i get it, i'll sign on, take it one term at a time, and if im supposed to be there the universe will show up and things will get paid for.
3 years later im now in my last year, have 7 classes left to graduate, and am not massively in debt.

i have been wanting to respond to this thread all week, been so busy!!! i have a great one to share that coincidently has to do with housing. almost 4 years ago i was living in northern california where i lived for 9 years. i was looking for two years to buy a home that had a private yard, i made numerous offers in those two years and nothing ever worked out. i decided to do a ritual for finding the perfect homespace. i wrote down exactly what i wanted, a small house on 5 acres with a very open floor plan and lots of light and a workshop i also wrote down an exact price that i wanted to pay for this home. well i wrapped up the piece of paper around a small piece of adventurine crystal and tied it with red hemp twine. i then buried it on the property were i was renting at the time. about 3 weeks later i woke up in the morning with the information that i needed to take a road trip up to washington state to a small island where i had a friend living...it was right before my 30th birthday so i decided it would make a nice little birthday trip. well after arriving up to the island, i was told about this property that was about to go on the market in a couple of days....i was looking around the area just to get a feel of the prices etc and wasnt planning on actually buying at the time. i decided to stick around and the house went on the market on my actual 30th birthday. i went and checked it out and it was 5 very private acres with a small house with a very open floor plan, the entry way has wall to wall windows and the ceiling is also a window. (plus 9 other skylights) and a very large studio with a workshop attached to it. it was exactly what i wrote down in my manifestation! so i decide to make an offer on it and drive back down to california that same day.....about an hour on the road my cell phone rings and it was the real estate agent telling me my offer was accepted at the exact price i needed! i hang up the phone and look over and there was a huge full rainbow in the sky :) for real. so i go down to cali pack up my stuff and move up there 6 weeks later! my friends could not believe that i was moving up there on an impulse like that! first time up there and i bought a house :) so i move in, and i go down to the row of mailboxes at the end of the road. there is a mailbox with my last name painted on it! i was thinking, how nice the people i bought the place from painted my name on there...i ask the mail carrier about it and he tells me about 20 years ago there was a family with the same last name that moved away and the mail box has been there ever since! so meant to be! i then start talking with the locals and they tell me that the house has always been called the medicine house (i make gem tinctures and assist others in healing) and the studio has always been called the owl house. owl is one of my totems! the universe was showing me so many signs that my dream had led me in the right direction. i love it!!!!
