Re: Peace???
Thu, December 13, 2007 - 7:49 PMi see it like the eye of a storm, a state of mind... not the absence of challenges necessarily, but the ability to BE a place that is not totally at the effect of external factors... its balance, the ability to hold the black and the white and all the shades of grey yet remain centered... i look at nature, and you can find plenty of appearances of conflict, even life and death, lots of life and death, yet there is an underlying peace and balance and ease to it... thats what i think of, that quality... natural, organic...

Re: Peace???
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 7:51 AMUltimate utopia, blissful ecstasy, knowing everything and everything is well and at peace around you, and that everything and everyone has the right to do whatever they want to without any confrontations, disagreements, arguments, and knowing NO ONE is hurting... physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually... and knowing that GOD is right there with us all... whether SOME OF US believe in Him or not... even though others might have their higher power to worship too (...sitting among one's enemies and breaking bread with them... ). When thinking of peace, I think of the OUTDOOR electronic music events that I've attended up in the mountains, where the parties were not just "parties", but spiritual, cathartic awakenings and journeys. I think of the incense burning (stuck out of the ground) and sage burning (people walking around with it), and the soft drum circles that start and take people on a mental rhythm- making them want more. I think of the raging river that is close by where you can hear the water rustling over the rocks. I think of the tapestries hanging up all over throughout the trees. I think of the hippy campers all over and each tent or two or three tents together is like another miniature camp. I think of the DJs at night time... starting the night out with Progressive Tribal House (drum circles that lead into an actual DJ set where the DJ plays PTH or soft DnB at first). I then think the night progresses and there is a fire dancing show of about 8-12 fire dancers, and costumes, and everyone is decked out in their best dancing gear. I think of women on stilts... hot outfits... Indian, Tibetan skirts on the outside of the pants that they're wearing. I think of hip-hugger, cargo pants that the sexy girls with pierced belly-buttons have. I think of dredlocks- both on guys and girls... and how they're wrapped up way up high in a scarf. I think of the smell of ganja in the background and some are in a circle holding hands. I think of the night progressing even more and people dance really hard to PsyTrance for 3 hours, then Goa for another 3 hours and then the morning ending with melodic, morning Trance... then Psybient for 2 hours and Ambient for 2 hours... until about 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. I think of the sun coming out and seeing naked bodies down by the riverside all covered in mud from the side of the river.
I think of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING at peace and no matter what... GOD is with us all... and that's where we surround ourselves with good company of friends... and all of those friends ARE our family. WE ARE the "outsiders" in society, because no one knows what we know, feels what we feel, or believes what we believe.
Can you picture that? How beautiful it is I know. And, THAT WILL happen again... I'm sure. It's just a matter of time and those who want to be a part of something special (finding the right people to work together). "Let things happen" is what I should say... and follow... so, I'm waiting, hoping, and praying that we'll all experience that in 2008 and the rest of our lives.
(Of course, on the flip side, I think of the part in Independece Day about the alien in the security room speaking through window... "peace... no peace". <grin>).

Re: Peace???
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 2:48 PMIn order to love someone, you must love yourself first. In order to be at peace with someone, you must be at peace with yourself first.
The U.S. is not at peace with itself... there are too many crimes here and we need to take care of our own. Although I'm patriotic, I just down stand before the flag and do the "hand on my heart" kind of thing. Therefore, we should get the hell out of Iraq.

Re: Peace???
Fri, December 21, 2007 - 11:01 AMWhen a man makes love to a woman and the man sees the "roll of her eyes" go back into her head, that "quiver" that she gives... that "tremble" of her ultimate and multiple orgasms that she is experiencing when he is lying on top of her... while feeling her warm, sweatty breasts against his masculine chest, and feeling the warm, tingling sensations from her hot, moist sex which has more suction than an octopus in heat... taking him in slowly, and deeply and softly- at that very moment where her actions are being recognized by him and both man and woman are............. at peace.
